Blue goatskin binding with inlays of painted paper/mylar laminations. Free-hand tooling with painted and gold tooled areas. Painted paper edge-to-edge pastedowns and flyleaves. 

The text is an exploration by Shahn and Moore of the spirit of letters and letter making. The binding presents imagined letterforms and fragments of them in a playful yet purposeful arrangement suggesting type on a page or broadside.
