Bound in 2008 in black goatskin with applications of goatskin, calfskin and painted mylar with palladium and painted tooling. Painted and blind tooled title on spine.

The binding is an interpretation of Alberti’s and Motherwell’s blackness in describing the soul of post Civil War Spain, and the glimmer of hope given to Spain’s future.
